A WOMAN has escaped an attempted abduction in Magill by punching the alleged offender in the nose.
The 22-year-old woman was walking along Ferris Street at about 10pm last night when a male in a car stopped next to her.
The man got out of the car, grabbed the woman by the shoulder and asked her to get in, but she punched him in the nose and ran off.
The male is described as being of Asian appearance, with an olive complexion and dark hair.
He was wearing dark clothing.
