Bottle shop worker attacked with brick

The West Australian

August 10, 2010

A liquor store worker was hit in the head with a brick by two men who stole alcohol from a Midland store.

The worker has a 10cm cut on his forehead after the attack last night.

Police are looking for two males believed to be aged 15 to 18 who entered the store just after 7pm.

They were refused service because they could not prove they were of legal age.

They left the store but returned five minutes later. One stood by the door and the other grabbed two bottles of alcohol.

As they were leaving one of them threw a brick, hitting the worker in the head.

He was treated in hospital.

The two are described as dark skinned, both were wearing black, hooded jumpers, one had grey trousers and the other had blue.
