A sword-wielding robber held up a service station in Hamilton Hill early this morning and stole cash after threatening staff with the weapon.
The robbery happened at 4.50am in Winterfold Street when the man entered the servo with a T-shirt over his face and carrying a sword.
He demanded cash and left on foot after staff handed over the money.
The attacker is described as 165cm tall, skinny and possibly of Aboriginal descent. He was wearing light blue jeans and black shirt.
