TV captures Vikings robbers

ACT Policing have issued images of the men responsible for the robbery at Vikings Lanyon.

Three men entered the premises about 11.30pm on Monday. One was armed with a knife and another was believed to be armed with a handgun.

One offender remained just inside the door of the club while another ordered the club's security guard on to the floor. One of the men threatened the duty manager and forced him to access an internal office, from where cash was stolen.

Another separate sum of cash was stolen from one of the club's tills.

The first offender is described as Caucasian, about 185cm tall and wearing dark clothing.

The second offender is described as about 175cm tall, of solid build, weighing 90-100kg, with dark eyes, tanned or olive skin, and spoke with a Maori or Pacific Islander accent.

The third offender is about 175cm tall, with a solid build, aged in his early 20s, and spoke with an Australian accent.

All three had clothing wrapped around their heads, obscuring their faces.

There were about 12 people in the club at the time of the incident, but nobody was injured.
